The Rodney Jones Law Group P.C. seeks an ambitious, strategic, forward-thinking individual to manage his/her own Personal Injury Unit docket and Team. The ideal candidate will possess the skill to manage a work environment with high case volumes, is passionate about optimal service delivery, client satisfaction, has the capacity to recognize and develop the skills of others within their unit, and someone who can effectively manage a team to meet high performance productivity.

Attorneys are responsible for managing a team that will handle the entire PI case life (Pre-litigation and Litigation) by handling the following:

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage a team that is responsible for a high volume caseload.
Set and measure team goals for maximum productivity and output.
Litigate cases for maximum settlement judgements.
Take and defend deposition.
Attend mediations, hearings, and trials as appropriate.
Maintain heavy communication with clients, opposing counsel and adjusters.
Negotiate settlements as needed, outside of mediation and trial.
Meet monthly established goals and metrics
Manage performance issues with Executive staff.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

Juris Doctorate
Texas Bar License /or Awaiting Results
3-5 years Litigation Experience
Personal Injury Experience Preferred but not required
Bilingual preferred but not required

Salary

The Rodney Jones Law Group P.C. is looking for a versatile legal receptionist.. In this role, you will be required to welcome visitors and answer calls. As a legal receptionist, your duties include scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and managing mail and deliveries. You may also be required to assist with filing.
To ensure success as a legal receptionist, you should exhibit excellent communication skills and competency in general office administration. Outstanding legal receptionists are polished professionals who create a positive first impression.

Legal Receptionist Responsibilities

Welcoming clients and visitors upon arrival at reception.
Answering, screening, and forwarding phone calls in a professional manner.
Assisting clients and visitors with the location of legal staff.
Scheduling confirming and calendaring appropriate appointments.
Observing business etiquette, and maintaining a professional appearance.
Directing the flow of mail, faxes, and deliveries to reach the intended recipients.
Supporting the operations department with inventory, ordering and replenishing office supplies as necessary.
Ensuring all communal spaces are neat and tidy throughout the day.
Support the operations team with maintenance and repair of office equipment.
Assisting with copying, scanning, faxing, emailing, note-taking, and scheduling.
Preparing meeting facilities, and arranging refreshments, if required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Prior experience as a legal receptionist preferred.
Experience with personal injury office environments is preferred.
Familiarity with legal terms, legal documents, and filing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
Experience with multi-line phone systems.
Extensive experience working with word processing, spreadsheets, printers, copiers, scanners, faxes, and appointment scheduling and call forwarding systems.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
