The Rodney Jones Law Group P.C. seeks an ambitious, strategic, forward-thinking individual to manage his/her own Personal Injury Unit docket and Team. The ideal candidate will possess the skill to manage a work environment with high case volumes, is  passionate about optimal service delivery, client satisfaction, has the capacity to recognize and develop the skills of others within their unit, and someone who can effectively manage a team to meet high performance productivity.

Attorneys are responsible for managing a team that will handle the entire PI case life (Pre-litigation and Litigation) by handling the following:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage a team that is responsible for a high volume caseload.
  • Set and measure team goals for maximum productivity and output.  
  • Litigate cases for maximum settlement judgements.
  • Take and defend deposition.
  • Attend mediations, hearings, and trials as appropriate.
  • Maintain heavy communication with clients, opposing counsel and adjusters.
  • Negotiate settlements as needed, outside of mediation and trial.
  • Meet monthly established goals and metrics
  • Manage performance issues with Executive staff.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate
  • Texas Bar License /or Awaiting Results
  • 3-5 years Litigation Experience
  • Personal Injury Experience Preferred but not required
  • Bilingual preferred but not required

Salary

  • Commensurate with experience.

The Personal Injury Case Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the case, including client communication, documentation, coordination with medical providers, and negotiation with insurance companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law or case management, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to client advocacy.

Responsibilities

  • Client Intake: Conduct initial consultations with clients to gather information about their personal injury claims and assess the viability of their cases.
  • Case Management: Manage personal injury cases from intake to resolution, including organizing case files, documenting case details, and tracking deadlines and milestones.
  • Client Communication: Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on their cases, answer their questions, and address their concerns.
  • Medical Coordination: Coordinate with medical providers to obtain medical records, bills, and other documentation related to clients’ injuries and treatment.
  • Investigation: Conduct investigations into the circumstances surrounding clients’ injuries, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and collecting relevant information.
  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents, pleadings, and motions with courts and government agencies as needed.
  • Deposition Preparation: Prepare clients for depositions, including reviewing deposition questions, conducting mock interviews, and providing guidance on deposition etiquette.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field. Paralegal certification is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in personal injury law or case management, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Empathetic and compassionate demeanor, with the ability to build rapport with clients and provide support during challenging times.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, medical providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office suite.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
