Rodney Jones grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated from Clark Atlanta University where he earned his B.A. in Business Administration and Marketing with Honors before earning his J.D from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
Rodney has an extensive background in business, entertainment, and real estate.
Before earning his J.D. Rodney held several leadership positions in the business field and worked as a law clerk for Judge Belinda Hill in the Harris County District Court.
Immediately after becoming licensed to practice law in 2012, Rodney founded the Rodney Jones Law Group P.C. where he currently serves as CEO and Managing Partner
Rodney is a licensed Escrow Officer and Fee attorney for Fidelity National Title Company
Chairs the board of Directors for the Houston Texas Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone 26 (Sunnyside TIRZ), and sits on the board of several community bases civic clubs
Member of the Phi Alpha Delta Legal society, American Bar

Candice Idlebird is a Partner at Rodney Jones Law Group, P.C. whose focus is personal injury litigation, specifically, automobile accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability, products liability, workplace liability, dog bites, and wrongful death.
In 2003, Candice graduated with honors from the University of Houston where she studied History and Political Science.
In 2011, she graduated with honors from Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
Candice started her legal career as an associate attorney at the Gourrier Law Firm for five years, where she focused primarily on personal injury Litigation.
In July 2016, Candice Idlebird joined the Rodney Jones Law Group as an associate attorney, and she managed the personal injury department.
In 2022, Candice Idlebird became a Partner here at the Rodney Jones Law Group.
Candice Idlebird is a member of Phi Alpha Delta law society, American Bar Association and Trial School Mixed Method Advocacy
Candice Idlebird is currently admitted to the Texas Bar and the Southern District of Texas.
